Virginia Regiment

This group’s mission:

Quoted from their Facebook page.

.

“We are a historical research-based, living history group dedicated to re-creating the French and Indian War era Virginia Regiment. We recognize that, as living historians, we have a responsibility to the viewing and visiting public to give as historically correct an impression as is possible. This responsibility makes it imperative that we focus on historical accuracy rather than eighteenth-century themed recreational camping. Our impression is not limited to visual presentation, but includes behavioral, cultural, culinary, and other aspects of mid-eighteenth century provincial frontier military and civilian life.”
